MAXI? MIDI? MINI? You can now choose between them all

You can now choose between HAMA MAXI, MIDI and MINI on Perleland.dk. Just pick your bead settings when you start a new board – then the size and grid match the type of beads you use.

You can now choose bead type: MAXI, MIDI or MINI

There's a new update on Perleland.dk: when you make a new board, you can now choose between HAMA MAXI, HAMA MIDI and HAMA MINI.

This means it's become much easier to make patterns that fit precisely the type of beads and board you use at home.

How to do it

  1. Start by making a new board/pattern.
  2. Go to Bead settings.
  3. Choose the type you use: MAXI, MIDI or MINI.
  4. Make your pattern as usual – now the format matches your chosen bead type.

Why it's smart

  • MAXI is perfect for children and big, clear motifs.
  • MIDI is the classic that most people know from HAMA boards.
  • MINI allows for more detail and a more "pixel art" look.

Whichever type you choose, the goal is the same: to let you go from idea to finished bead board faster – and with fewer frustrations along the way.

Tip: Choose bead type before you fine-tune

If you already have an idea for a motif, choose the bead type early in the process. MINI often gives the best level of detail, while MAXI is brilliant if it needs to be simple and easy to lay.

Feedback wanted

I develop Perleland.dk continuously, and I'd really like to hear whether the bead settings work well for you:

  • Is a default board size missing?
  • Is anything confusing in the bead settings?
  • What should the next improvement be?

Please share ideas and feedback – it helps me make the tool even better 🙌
