Get Perleland as an app

Perleland can be installed as an app on your phone, tablet and computer — straight from the browser, no App Store needed. You get an icon on your home screen, full screen without the browser bar, and all your patterns and your account come along.

What do you get?

  • Full screen without the browser's address bar — more room for the beads.
  • Faster start, because the app remembers most things from last time.
  • The same account, the same patterns and the same bead inventory as on the website.

iPhone and iPad

On iPhone and iPad you install apps from Safari via the Share menu. It takes three taps.

Safari

  1. Open perleland.dk in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon (the square with the arrow) at the bottom of the screen — on iPad it is at the top.
  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. Tap “Add” in the top right. Perleland now sits as an app on your home screen.

Chrome on iPhone/iPad

  1. Open perleland.dk in Chrome.
  2. Tap the Share icon in the top right (or the three dots).
  3. Choose “Add to Home Screen” and tap “Add”.

Android phone and tablet

On Android, Chrome offers to install Perleland itself. The button at the top of this page does it with one tap.

Chrome

  1. Tap “Install Perleland” at the top of the page — or tap the three dots ⋮ in the top right of Chrome.
  2. Choose “Install app” (on some phones it says “Add to Home screen”).
  3. Confirm with “Install”. Perleland is now among your apps.

Samsung Internet

  1. Tap the menu button (three lines) in the bottom right.
  2. Choose “Add page to” → “Home screen”.
  3. Tap “Add”.

PC and Mac

On the computer you install Perleland from Chrome or Edge — it then opens in its own window like a regular program.

Chrome and Edge (Windows, Mac, Chromebook)

  1. Click “Install Perleland” at the top of the page — or click the small install icon on the right side of the address bar.
  2. Confirm with “Install”.
  3. Perleland opens in its own window and appears in the Start menu (Windows) or Applications (Mac).

Safari on Mac

  1. Click the Share icon in the toolbar.
  2. Choose “Add to Dock”.
  3. Click “Add”. (Requires macOS Sonoma or newer.)

Firefox

  1. Firefox cannot install web apps. Save perleland.dk as a bookmark instead (Ctrl/Cmd + D) — or use Chrome or Edge for the installation.
