Making bead patterns on Perleland is completely free. You upload a picture, choose a size and your colors, and get the pattern as a PDF — without paying anything.
Yes. In the tool you can choose exactly which bead colors you have at home, and Perleland will only use those when creating your pattern. So you avoid having to buy new colors.
Patterns are printed with Hama color codes. If you use other brands like Nabbi, Pyssla or Perler Beads, you can match the colors by eye — midi beads look very similar across brands. You can also choose between Mini, Midi and Maxi bead size in the tool.
You can choose from 10×10 beads up to 1000×1000. Patterns larger than a single bead board are automatically split across multiple boards, and the PDF clearly shows which board goes where — so you can easily piece them together afterwards.
Yes, you need to log in to use the tool and download patterns. Creating an account is free. We require login to keep the service stable and free from abuse.
JPG, PNG, WEBP and HEIC up to 25 MB. Phone photos and screenshots work fine too — we'll convert automatically if needed.
Yes. The PDF contains colored squares with Hama color codes in each square, so you can either follow the colors directly or use the codes if you print in black and white.
Screen colors and physical beads are two different worlds — beads only come in a limited number of colors, and the program picks the closest match. The more colors you've chosen to use, the closer the pattern will be to the original image.
Place baking paper over the beads and iron with a hot iron (no steam) for 10-15 seconds with even movement. Let the board cool before removing the beads. For double-sided fusing, you can flip and iron the back too.
Yes, the tool is built to be simple enough for kids from around 7-8 years old with a little help. Ironing the finished bead boards should however always be done with an adult.
